A woman disappears. After the snowstorm, her snow-covered car is found near isolated farms in the mountains. The police are in the dark.
Five people are involved, consciously or unconsciously, in the murder and reveal different perspectives on the event. Until the threads of the story finally lead to another continent, under a blazing sun.

“They are above all very lonely characters who find their own way out of the gloom of their lives,” explains actress Laure Calamy.

Dominik Moll’s Franco-German film is based on the crime novel “Seules les bêtes” by Colin Niel. 

The award-winning film premiered at the 2019 Venice Film Festival and won an award at the Munich Film Festival.
