This film exposes a horrifying crime: a controllable fire turned catastrophic under perfect conditions for containment—no wind and expert firefighters. Inexplicable “do not extinguish” orders were given, resulting in more than 52,000 acres being destroyed. Forests, wildlife, villages, and farmland were reduced to ash, wiping out the lifelong efforts of residents. The government forcibly evacuated villagers and refused to protect the forests. Instead, authorities now aim to invest in the ravaged areas, claiming it’s for “development” and “reconstruction,” raising serious questions about their true motives.
